Basics 101: Fund-Raising Group SizeThe size of your fundraising group or organization is a very crucial variable in determining which product fund-raisers you are to sell. A large group, properly motivated, can sell basically anything they want to sell, and have good success, but a very small group of less than 15-20 students may not be able to meet the minimum order size for cookie dough fundraisers, frozen cheesecake fundraisers and certain other fundraising products that require greater order sizes. Although iLoveFundraising.com has one of the smallest minimum order sizes (with Free Delivery) in the fundraising industry on frozen food items ( pre-portioned cookie dough fundraisers, fundraising cookie dough tubs, home delivery cookie dough, etc.), there is still a significantly greater number of items required for a minimum order than with most of the other fundraisers we handle. There are times, however, when a small group, having only a handful of sellers, will sell a disproportionately huge amount of fundraising cookie dough. We have seen small cheerleading groups of only six cheerleaders who have sold hundreds of cookie dough items, showing that motivation and determination, not just the group size, are huge contributors to outstanding fundraising success. Although large groups can do well selling just about any fundraising product, they normally will make larger total profits selling products that have greater selling prices. Cookie dough fundraisers, Fundraising Flower Bulbs and Interstate Battery Fundraisers are ideal items for large fundraising groups. Generally all size groups, whether large, medium or small, do very well with candy fundraising items. Chocolate fundraisers, hard & chewy candy fundraisers and fundraising gourmet lollipops, are excellent choices for almost any size of group. Meat snacks and beef jerky fundraisers are also very good choices, and are growing in popularity with fundraising groups of all sizes. Fundraising scratch cards are an extremely good choice for small and medium size groups, particularly for youth sports teams. |
