We've been expanding our catalog with non candy items as nutritional guidelines and customer preferences have moved away from the high sugar items that were the bread and butter (or bread and jam) of fundraising in the past. Meat snacks have proved to be one of the best alternatives, even out selling candy in some locations.
I personally prefer these thick beef sticks to the tougher, flat beef jerky - plus the 1.25oz size is notably larger than the jerky. You might also consider similar offerings from Oberto.
